Trick-or-treating, turtle, Nate and grandpa

We had Trick-or-treating today.  Here are pictures from that and some other things from the last couple days. :)

[this turtle was crossing the road near the end of our street… it was a huge snapper!]

[Nate and grandpa were best buds at Eli's flag football game Saturday.]

[After flag football Eli had some friends over to play more football… great group of boys!]

[Kate doing some painting.]

And, trick-or-treating… down our road and then with cousins at my parents'!

The weather was unbelievable!  It had to have been at least 60 degrees… Nate was sweating under his hat!

[Nate only fell three times.]

Nate also had one major breakdown… we went up to a house that had a bowl out for candy with a note saying to take one.  Well, the candy was gone.  Nate was pretty upset and cried.  I told him he could get candy at the next house and he was okay.  It also had a bowl out and when he got there it was empty, too!  Major breakdown… until Abby saved us by giving him one of her pieces of candy.  Thanks, Abby!  He was so upset… yet he was standing there with a pumpkin FULL of candy.  Oh well.

We met up with Christy and Olivia, grandma and grandpa, and Cara and Jason, too.  Grandma brought the mustaches… turning into a tradition.  And, a funny one at that.  Although, after Eli struggled to get his off after he might not be participating next year. ;)

[I love taking pictures of people taking pictures… :)]

[and, they thought they could get out of the picture… nope!]

Keep smiling!
