Tonight Eli, Kate and I ran to Pick-n-Save while Rachel was at piano lessons. Her lesson is only a half hour, so didn't leave us much time to shop. I just wanted to get a few things, so thought we could do it. Gave Eli a pep-talk before we went in. Said we had to be speedy, so we weren't late to get Rachel. He told me his legs were tired, so I told him he could go in the back of the cart if he wanted to. He asked me if they have those pictures on the carts showing where kids should and shouldn't go. I told him they did, but said he could go in the back. He said, "so, you can go in the back at the grocery store?" I told him it'd be fine. We got into the store and the first thing he did was look at the sign on the front of the cart. He showed me the picture of the kid in the back with a circle and line through... showing that kids shouldn't sit in the back. He said he changed his mind and his legs weren't tired... he wanted to walk. I told him he wouldn't get in trouble if he sat in the cart, but he refused. For some reason I thought this was so cute. Even with him walking, we were back to get Rachel in plenty of time.
Kate: some recent videos
Here is Kate trying to jump!
And, Kate practicing some words. She is not a fan of saying "snuffleupagus!"
Rachel: Proof she has "Bieber-Fever"
How many of you have ever thought of Justin Bieber when seeing these semis on the road? Well... now you will, as will I, thanks to Rachel for pointing it out to me!
Keep smiling... : )
