Absolut Game Plan
My Mom invited me to the Packer Game Plan at Schmitty's Oar House on Monday night. It was pretty fun! Desmond Bishop was the main guest and the other two players there were Jerrett Bush and Charlie Peprah. They all did a great job! They all had a sense of humor, too, which was nice. It lasted an hour and was very well done. Thanks Mom!

Picnic Today
Rachel had a half day today and Eli was off, so we decided to pack a lunch and head to the park... since it was almost 80 out! Not bad for October 5th... nice! We had Olivia today, too... very fun day!
[there were so many geese at the park. none bothered us, but they were pretty loud. the little girls had fun watching them!]
[love those eyes!!!]
[my little thumb-sucker!]
[adorable]
Rachel's Room
I had some motivation to paint Rachel's room... so, Monday I bought the paint and got a start on it. I felt bad, but I left all the trim work for Mike. For two reasons... 1) he's better than me and 2) yeah, he's better than me! He tackled that yesterday and then I put a second coat on the walls last night. Today I did the area by the mirror, which I thought would look neat in a lighter purple. Well, I'm bummed that it's really not much lighter at all. You can actually hardly tell there's even a difference. Oh well.
[yeah, we still need lots for the walls!]
I picked out the paint color and bedding without the help of Rachel. As much fun as I know it would have been for her, it was just much quicker for me to just do it. I usually take forever to make up my mind... which is where she gets her terrible quick-decision making skills from, but this was something I just wanted to get done. I found something right away. Had a harder time deciding on the color to paint... I went from purple to pink to teal and back to purple. I like how it turned out... thankfully. It's not going to be a fun color to paint over, so it'll be like this for awhile. : )
Rachel likes it! She was most excited to finally get to hang up somethings she's had for a long time. She's had some princess wall decals she got way over a year ago and the iRachel sign she got for her birthday back in February. I felt bad this entire time... the reason she hadn't put things up earlier was because our house was for sale. The last thing you want in a room is clutter and stuff all over the walls. So, I told her she'd have to wait until we got a new house. Not thinking it was going to take as long as it did.
[i love this...]
[thought this was cute placement of the crown... it's at the height, so when Rachel looks in the mirror it looks like it's on her. all her idea... love it!]
Still have more things to get for the walls, but just happy the painting is done. Next one will be the baby room and then Eli's room. The baby room will be neutral and we want to do something fun with Eli's room... that's going to take some thought I think. So, we'll save it for last. ; )
Now come on Brewers!!!!
