visit with my sister and flowers

Today the kids and I visited my sister.  She watches two kids (one that is about Rachel's age and another that is very close to Kate's age).  The kids all played together so well!!  We weren't sure how the girls would do.  It was Abby, Rachel and the girl Sheri watches.  It always seems to be a challenge to get three kids to play together.  Usually seems one feels left out for one reason or another.  Well, none of that today. The girls all played so well together!  They had a lot of fun.

The boy that is close to Kate's age was such a cutie!  He is, of course, walking around.  Hopefully Kate watched and learned!  It was so funny though, because he couldn't resist pulling Kate's little pony tail on the top of her head.  Almost every time he was near her he tried grabbing it.  It was fun to see how Kate reacted.  She usually just looked at me as if to say, "Did you see what he just did, Mom?"  It was good entertainment.  She cried just a couple times.  Overall, they had fun together.

Eli had a tee-ball game tonight, too.  He did a very good job.  His last hit was a really good one and because he was last he actually got to keep running the bases.  Very fun for him!  My cousin, Teri, and her son, Nolan, came to the game.  It was so nice to see them.  Thanks so much for coming... Eli thought that was pretty neat. : )

Also, going to share some recent pictures I've taken of flowers.  Today we saw the butterfly... was neat.  Felt bad because, as you can see, one of the wings was injured.  Didn't seem to bother it though... it could fly just fine.  It hung out for awhile.  Eli and Kate had fun watching it. : )
