4th of July 2019

We had a great 4th of July at the cottage with most of our family!  The weather looked iffy leading up to the holiday, but thankfully we only got a little rain.  It was beautiful most of the time!!

The great weather allowed for lots of fun outside!  Fishing, tubing, surfing (kind of), pontooning, chilling, some running, tie-dying and watching fireworks.

[first run of the holiday and it was hot!  felt good to get this nice cool down when I was done!]

[projects... always]

[lots of shoes and a tired puppy]

[this is 10am...]

[this, too...]

[6 wet miles, but felt great!]

[caught while on the paddle board!]

[girls had fun tie-dying!]

[love this picture!]

[the fireworks were amazing several nights!]

[oldest to youngest]

[One man's junk is another man's treasure... I think that's how the saying goes.  Our neighbors asked if we wanted the basketball hoop that has been on their shore for about 15 years.  We couldn't pass it up!  So much fun already!]

[Yay Rachel... she's been so excited to try this for a very long time!!]

Mike slaloming (like riding a bike!)... finally had a boat driver there.  Thanks, Steve!

[nice spray]

[came home to two butterflies we had to release!]
