They went 4-2 for 4th place in Division 1! They were undefeated on day 1 and beat some great teams! Was a super, fun day! Day 2 brought even tougher competition and I think their emotions got the best of them. It was a sad day seeing many of these girls playing together for the last time.
We couldn't have asked for a better team to be part of... the players, the coaches and the parents. All amazing and so much fun!
Here are some pictures from the weekend... love these girls!! 💗
[This is after the girls' last practice... bittersweet.]
[Great excuse to go to Culver's for ice cream!]
[Team dinner Friday night in Stevens Point. Love this place!]
[Girls were in Stevens Point...]
[Boys were in Wrightstown for Eli's State Tournament. Sad they were the same weekend.]
[Thanks, Lisa, for putting these together for the girls.]
[Was fun to see the Hauser brothers at the tournament.]
[the moms]
[The boys beat us home and did this for Rachel... so sweet!]
SUPER PROUD of Rachel for everything she's given to the basketball program since she started. She's been a leader, always respected her coaches and went to each practice willing and excited to learn all she could. Seeing how much she's improved over the years in the program makes me so proud.
Next year she will be a freshman at Fond du Lac High School. This Summer will bring her plenty of opportunities at the high school to work on basketball and help her get ready for a new chapter, which will bring more fun and more memories. Time... please slow down!
Keep smiling!
