Nate ~ Seesaw

I have been TERRIBLE at this and have thought... I should just stop worrying about the fact I'm not doing it and just tell myself it's okay not to do it and stop thinking about it.  Feel like there's not enough to write about from day to day now that the kids are in school and now that they're getting older.  Every once in awhile there are things that happen and I think... that'd be something to document on my blog to look back at in the future.  Then, I don't do it.  Feel more guilt and then forget about it again.

Decided this is blog-worthy, so I'm making the time to get back at this.  I know my future self will thank me. ;)

Last Friday Nate sent me a text (don't worry, he doesn't have his own working phone... just an old one we set up so he can text using an email address)... he asked if he could get seesaw.  After going back and forth with him I had no idea what he was talking about.

Finally figured out Seesaw was an app they're using in school.  Turns out it's a really neat communication tool.  Very excited about it!  Especially, after getting one of his first journal entries.  This just melts my heart and makes me want to cry... Nate is just so sweet.  I think the angle of the video makes it even better.  I might have watched this several times!

[screenshot of the video in the app, so you can see what he wrote with the video.]

[and, his sweet voice... love]

There are things like this I don't want to forget about... which is why I do this blog.  I will try to be better! 💗

Keep smiling!
