USA Jump Rope Regional Competition in Ohio

Last weekend Rachel had her second jump rope competition of the season... it was a USA Jump Rope Regionals tournament in Ohio.  This was our first time competing in that... mostly because whoever advances from there goes to Nationals... in the Dells this year (yes, actually in WI!)

These pictures might be out of order, but I just don't have it in me to figure out the right order.  I want to get this done tonight... so, out of order is how it's going to be.  And, not planning to proof read it after finishing either.  Sorry in advance. ;)

[love these girls!]

[a little HQ in the bathtub... I mean, where else would you play?]

[I love how Rachel responds to Kendal being silly... one of my favorite parts about traveling.]

[traditional picture...]

[Allison giving advice for the 3 minute speed event.  I think I remember the exact words "the second minute will be the worst minute of your life."]

[just me wearing Rachel's shoes... poor Rachel]

Mike was holding down the fort while Rachel and I were away.  Got a few humorous texts from him and Kate while I was gone.

[with this picture was... "I guess it was loose."]

[awe!]

[And, with this "any ideas?"]

[no worries... they got it out with hot water... whew!]

Rachel had a great competition and placed in almost every event she was in!  Not too bad.  The two I'm most proud of her for are her 1st place single routine (she was up against some very tough competition in her age group) and their Team Show performance.  The entire team did great... and everyone qualified for Nationals, which will be in the Dells at the end of June!!!!!

[start of the Team Show... love!]

[checking out the workout room...]

[And, after 12-1/2 hours in the gym... why not run a mile, do the bike and elliptical.  Their reasoning... to get hot, so the pool would feel refreshing.  Um, okay.]

Here are some great pictures that someone on the team took.  Love them so much!

So, now that that's done... and most of basketball... time for more "fun."  No, not another baby (oh gosh no!)... at least not a human baby.  Tomorrow starts a new adventure... and we can't wait!!

Keep smiling!
