Last day of school!

Today was the last day of school... wahoo!!!!  So far, so good! ;)

[waiting in the car for the bus.  actually, might be the last time we do this... no idea yet how the mornings will work next year!!  three different schools... fun, fun!]

And, the tradition... ice cream for lunch on the last day of school!!!  Love this tradition with friends at Kelley's Creamery.  So good!!

[I received this perk from R+F and I can honestly say it's crazy how much it motivates me to keep active.  Loving it!  It's a Jawbone UP2... similar to a fitbit.  It has an app that tracks my steps, activity and sleep.  Pretty fun!]

I'm pretty sure had I not wanted to reach at least 10,000 steps every day I would not have put the kids' bikes in the bus and went for a run while they rode their bikes when Eli was at baseball practice.  Perfect use of the hour and 15 minutes he was playing baseball.  Road/ran on the trail from Lakeshore to Nani and Papa's and checked out the new bridge on the trail, too.  Saw a deer and a turkey, too.  Fun!!

[love that we can just stop by my parents' whenever... and love that they're retired and usually around.  so lucky!]
