Rachel had her 5th grade recognition yesterday afternoon. Even though I'm sad to see her quickly growing up before my eyes (and wish time would just slow down)... I'm very excited for this next chapter in her life. I know she's going to love it! Her principal's closing advice was to "keep smiling"... I love that advice!
[Rachel and Nani and Papa]
[Rachel and Grandma... Grandpa was bummed not to be able to make it]
Rachel had to write an opinion paper in school and this is it. This was two pages long. Love her...
[they were helping pull weeds... and hunt for worms]
[first fire of the season!]
Monday was a perfect day for the Memorial Day parade.
[went to Gilles after the parade and here was Nate's cone. He had to go to the bathroom (which you can tell from the picture... he was wiggling) and said he was done with his cone. It was the saddest cone I've ever seen. There was about one more bite left... too funny that he couldn't finish it.
[This bike ride/run only took about two hours to get ready for...]
[Rachel's new fun thing to do!]
Keep smiling!
