[Kate had to have another cavity filled... she did so good!]
[Rachel has had several travel days for jump rope. This picture was from after the performances on her birthday.]
[Went shopping with her birthday money and found these... over half off. What great timing!]
[snuggling with her new FAVORITE blanket from nani and papa... it's so soft!!]
[It's that time of year when the shadow lines up on the pantry door during breakfast... love!]
[just in the car waiting for the bus]
[Nate loves these bowls!]
[It's so hard for me to let them make their own sandwiches, but sometimes I just do. Clean up takes twice as long as it'd take me to make them... but, they had fun!]
[Nate had to dress up as a knight for school. Pulled this together in less than a half hour... sometimes I surprise myself.]
[Rachel taking selfies with her best friend!]
[Maggie after she's had enough.]
Last weekend was crazy busy. Rachel had a two-day basketball tournament and Eli had one on Saturday. In total the kids had nine games!
[Eli's team took 2nd... lost the championship game by one. Great job!]
[Kate got to have a sleepover with her cousin at a hotel with a pool and slide. She had a blast!!!!]
After Rachel's games on Saturday we stopped at Olive Garden for supper. It was me, Mike, Rachel and Nate. Kate was with her cousin and Eli was at a friend's house. Not sure if it's ever been us four together to eat... and might not ever be again. We were thinking that it could be when Nate is still living at home and Rachel is home from college, but the realized if Nate's the only one home Rachel will most likely be out of college... so, she could be visiting with her baby or something. So crazy to think of!!!!
Rachel's first game on Sunday was at 8am in Appleton. That meant an early morning. We did get to see the sunrise on our way to the game though... and over a horse farm. So pretty!
[Nap-time at basketball...]
[Nap continued...]
Then, Monday night some of the Skippers performed at the Fondy Boys' Basketball game. They did AMAZING!!!!! So fun to watch! It was a very short performance, since they didn't have much time during half, but it was GREAT!!!
[This specific routine made me so proud... Rachel did so good with the oldies. Love!]
[Love that smile!]
Also, need to document a pretty funny thing that happened last week. So, I got an email from school saying I needed to put more money in the kids' lunch account. I thought I just put money in there, and usually only do a couple times a year, but figured I must not have. Logged in to deposit money and realized I did just put money in the account about a month ago. After looking at what the recent purchases were I realized Kate took hot lunch for THE LAST MONTH straight!!!!! I HAD NO IDEA.. and was making her cold lunches every day!!! Found out that she's been eating hot lunch at school and then eating her lunch on the bus on the way home. Oh my gosh, Kate!
We now have rules... and if you want hot lunch, that's great, but then I won't make a lunch. And, if you take a lunch... you have to eat it during lunch and not get hot lunch.
I was telling the story to my parents and asked Kate how they identify her when she takes hot lunch. I asked if she had a number to give them or a card. Her response was, "Awe, they know me." I just about fell on the floor laughing!!!!!
Keep smiling!
