My dad...

I was going through some pictures and there are two recent ones that I want to be included in my blog, because they are very special... the only problem is that I'm not prepared to write anything about them... at least not anything that can make sense of my thoughts and feelings right now.  I'm not good with words, so will not even try to come up with something extraordinary.

My blogs are always positive and that will continue... even when I'm feeling much sadness.

So, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about a month and a half ago.  Sucks, yes.  But, what it's really confirmed for me (which I strongly believed even before this) is that my parents are the most positive, optimistic and selfless people I know.

Love the quote above and am thankful every single day about how lucky I am to have the strongest, most positive and genuinely kind parents who would do anything to help anyone.  Thanks, mom and dad, for setting a great example of what I should do my best to become... not just as a parent, but also as an individual.

[So blessed to have such a great family.]

My dad's been going through chemo (like a champion and with great strength) and his hair was starting to fall out.  He knew it was time to shave it.  He had the idea of letting the grandkids help with the job.  I asked the kids if they wanted to help and they were very excited to help and to support their papa.  I know my dad was nervous, but man does he look great!!

[Papa with his barbers... love this picture so much]

Love you, dad, so much and pray for your continued strength and faith.

Keep smiling...
