Eli had a tournament in Hortonville this past weekend. The weather made what was supposed to be a one-day tournament turn into a two-day tournament. Happy I had the better weather day… poor Mike had to sit through some yucky weather on Saturday, while I attended a baby shower and a jump rope party. ;)
Was supposed to start at 8am on Saturday, but was pushed off four hours, then two more and then two more again. So, games were at 4pm and after 7pm. Long day for Mike and cousin Ryan who joined them. They lost their first game and won the second one.
Tournament finished on Sunday. I took the kids that day because Mike had plans to golf. Games at 8, 10, 12 and 1. Won the first three and lost the last… for a 3rd place finish. It's so fun watching the boys play… they've improved so much since last year!
Rachel, Kate and Nate did great. It's so much different this year than last at the ball diamond. Kate and Nate can occupy themselves pretty well near the bleachers and Rachel has fun watching. No stroller for naps though. ;)
