Rachel's First Basketball Tournament and Basement

Such a fun way to end the kids' super long holiday break… watching Rachel play basketball!  Wasn't sure how it'd go with the entire family there most of the day, but we went for it and it went pretty well.

The team did great!!  Lost the first two and won the last one, but the best part… we could notice huge improvement each game. :)

Rachel was bothered by a sore foot/heal (she landed weird while doing some gymnastics at home the other day), but she played hard none the less.  I was so proud of her!  I enjoyed watching so much!  She took some shots and made some, too.  She was pretty excited.

And, the basement is DONE!!  Loving every square foot of it!! :)

Just waiting for our new couch and we have to finish putting the office together.  Plan to have a breakfast nook type table built in the playroom, too… but, for the most part, it's done.
