I knew it was supposed to snow in the afternoon and had some groceries I needed to get. I decided to take these two to the store after dropping Kate off at school. I dropped Nate in the Tot Spot and Briggs came shopping with me. Mike thought this was mean, but to me it was the only thing that made sense. Reasoning… didn't know if I could drop Briggs off there since he's not my child and Nate enjoys it. Plus, it was much easier to shop quick without Nate. ;)

[Maggie loves the snow…]
I think I need a boy puzzle like this. This is one of our favorites, but a boy theme might be more fun for these guys. This one has lots of castles and ponies. ;)
Kate was door helper and very proud. I love when I get to school a little early to pick her up and they are playing outside. So fun to watch them from a distance. Got this message from her friend's mom and had to share.
"Sophia said at dinner that Kate was so nice to her today. Sophia proceeded to tell us that her boot came off on the playground and Kate helped her get it back on. Her words, 'Mom, that Kate is such a kind friend!' It was so cute listening to Sophia tell the story."
It feels good to hear your child is kind. :)
Mike had to go to DC for work… he headed there on Sunday and his flight home was yesterday afternoon. Of course… they'd get a snowstorm out East. I don't think Mike's return flight is ever on time. Always delayed for some reason. Thankfully, it was just delayed a couple hours and he was home yesterday evening. Good thing the snow took a path north of where he was or he could have been there for days. We're happy to have him home!
Keep smiling!
