They both were excited about their teachers and the kids in their class. They also liked their new lunch boxes. ; )
Here are some pictures of the big day!
[looking too big!]
[here is the bird that scared the daylights out of me when I opened the garage when we were about to leave... we were all laughing so hard!]
[waiting for the bus at the corner]
[there they go!]
[I had a one and three year old at home and it seemed quiet! Everything is relative. ;)]
[here they are getting off the bus after school... excited to tell me all about it!]
[this grasshopper landed on Eli when he walked over and would not leave. it crawled up his arm and to his shoulder... it was funny!]
Since Kate wasn't going to preschool I figured I should spend some time each day working with her on things. She has been struggling with her colors, so we weren't going to start there. Thought we'd start with writing the letters in her name. We have worked on the "K" before and she got it pretty quick. We worked on the rest and she did great!
[practicing...]
By Wednesday, she was able to write all the letters in her name. She did need me to tell her the letter and remind her how to make it, but she did all four letters in a row without mistake. I'm so proud... and she was pretty excited, too! Looking forward to our little "preschool."
[love this!]
Keep smiling!
