I'll start with some sunset pictures I took on my way home from the store one night last week. It was beautiful. I had Rachel and Kate in the car and they were getting annoyed with me stopping. I tried to explain to them how beautiful it was and that you don't always get to see a sunset so beautiful. They kind of got it... but, will definitely get it more in time.
Grandma took Rachel to the Wizard of Oz last Thursday. Thanks, Grandma... she had so much fun!!!!
Ryan slept over here last Wednesday and Rachel slept at Abby's. Mark it down!! Ryan slept here and was excited about it and Abby wasn't here! Yeah!! This is quite the milestone! Wish I would have taken some pictures.
Last weekend we went camping with some friends and their kids. The weather Friday and Saturday was pretty damp. The kids still had a blast though. They all played so well together!!
Here are some pictures... thanks, Kelly! I had my camera, but didn't pull it out once. :(
[all the kids in one picture - wish we would have taken a good one of all of them... didn't even think of it]
[how fun!]
[the boys spent lots of time near the pond]
[here is Nate is the highchair I bought at a rummage sale Friday before we left... it worked so well!]
[let's just say Friday night was rough... so rough, I decided to take Kate and Nate home to sleep Saturday night so our neighbor campers could get some sleep. I had this playing for awhile on my phone while I was up with Nate... just a reminder to myself. :)]
[taking a walk early Saturday and trying to keep Kate and Nate quiet with some donuts. ;)]
It was a lot of fun to camp with friends. Nate is just at a very difficult age for camping... especially for sleeping in a pop-up. I was very optimistic on Friday and was ready for a great time. It was fun, but Nate was just a bit louder than I would have liked. ;)
Today I took the kids to the park. It was an impromptu picnic, but so much fun! We stopped at the lighthouse first. Kate made it all the way up on her own. I did have to carry her and Nate down. Yes, I was kind of freaked and nervous about falling. I took my time and we made it down... whew. ;)
I wish I would have grabbed my good camera, but only had my phone. Glad I still pulled it out for some pictures. Got a few good ones of all the kids together.
[love this!]
[on the train]
[Nate looked so cute sitting on the train. He sat so nice.]
[walked over to A&W for a treat, too]
[brain~freeze!]
It's finally feeling like Summer!
Keep smiling!
