Rachel's Trip to Chicago!

My parents took Rachel and her cousin, Abby, to Chicago last weekend.  It was a gift for their birthdays.  My parents wanted to take them to the American Girl Store.  Wow... pretty lucky girls!  They've been so excited since February when they learned about the trip at Rachel's birthday party.  The time was finally here...

They left Friday around noon and drove to Milwaukee.  They took the train from Milwaukee to Chicago.

They did lots of walking, shopping and looking at the American Girl Store, they ate at the Cafe there, went to Navy Pier, got to take a taxi for the first time and go on a carriage ride.  How awesome!!

They got home Sunday evening.  What a great weekend!!

Here are some of the pictures my parents took.  It looks like so much fun!!!!  My parents said the girls were great and got along the entire time.  They are such good friends... I love it!!

Thank you, mom and dad, so much for giving Rachel this opportunity!!!   I think it might be the most fun she's ever had!!!  She loved it!!!!!!
