Memorial Day Weekend 2020

What a perfect weekend... well, actually almost WEEK.  Didn't seem like we were there that long, but it was about six days.  The weather was better than expected... always a great thing!

Good mix of swimming (water warmed up a lot in those six days), kayaking, pontooning, fishing, finding frogs and dragonflies, tanning, cleaning and even school work... since it's still not officially Summer yet.

Proud of us (especially Mike!) for finding that balance of getting stuff done and just relaxing and enjoying the nice weather.

[This spider looked just like Nate's fishing line!!]

[I was able to get a run in on most days... and several miles were with Rachel.  Love.]

[Kate's chalkboard artwork.]

[It got hot!!!]

[First dragonfly of the season.]

[Don't think there were any concussions...]

[First pontoon ride of the season!]

[The sunglasses I found in the bottom of the lake a couple years ago.  I worked hard for these!  Ha!]

[Can't see them, but there are three hot air balloons in the distance.  First time seeing them in the evening... usually they're up early morning.]

[I made everyone do this.  Figure we'll appreciate it years from now.]

And, some pictures Mike took. :)

[I caught a fish... and Eli didn't!  It was a tiny perch, but it was a fish!]

[Daisy likes to watch us down by the water like this.]

Keep smiling!
