Nate's word mixup and more fun memories...

Two things I want to share that I forgot to from Spring Break...

Nate had a couple mixups on works that were pretty funny.  Mentioning them here, so I don't forget!

1) He was playing catch with the football with Mike and said "that almost hit my voice."  We were wondering what he was talking about.  Thought it might have almost hit his throat or something?  Then he showed us what he was talking about by pointing... and he meant he almost got hit in the "boys!"  Ha!!

2) He said he wanted to go to the cat pool.  He said it several times and I couldn't figure out why.  Then I realized... we were calling it the Kiddie Pool and he thought Kitty Pool, which is why he said CAT pool.  This is why I love being a mom!!

Now onto our week...

We'll start with our picky eater, Rachel.  I was making something new and she kept telling me she didn't want it.  I told her she had to eat it.  It was fettuccine alfredo, which she likes... just made differently and had some chicken in it.  She actually slipped me this note upside down while I was cooking.  Needless to say, she did eat some of what I made... and I don't think it was as bad as she thought it'd be.

[this is Nate many late afternoons.  he doesn't "nap" anymore, but does fall asleep in the car and then I transfer him to the couch for a little rest.]

[this is April in WI!]

[was picking up and went to fix the pillows on the couch and saw this... freaked me out!]

[I never let the kids complain about sun shining in their face in the kitchen (sun is a good thing!)... they have to move or get sunglasses.]

[nothing better than cinnamon rolls on Great Nani's plates.]

Learn the Ropes was last Saturday.  Rachel was "staff" and Kate signed up to learn.  Kate was so excited!!!!  Loved watching Rachel teach Kate and all the other kids at the clinic.  One of the parents said to me "Rachel is so encouraging"... that made my day.  So proud.

[Eli was messing round and put his hood over his face.  Looks like a man's face... creepy.]

And, these cracked me up!!!!!!

I like all sorts of music and here is an example of my selections...

[taking the kids to school... one of my favorite channels]

[going to pick up Rachel from jump rope]

Yesterday we hung out with Olivia... so much fun!!! :)

Keep smiling!
