Last weekend Rachel helped out at the Learn the Ropes event in town. It's a day when the Skippers teach kids how to do some jump rope tricks. They had a great turnout and the kids all seemed to have a lot of fun! So proud of Rachel and the entire team!
[such a great group of girls!]
The last couple days have been fun...
[I've been very lazy with doing Kate's hair… this was me trying to spice it up a bit quickly before heading out the door. ;)]
Rachel met some of her friends at the Y to practice jump rope yesterday. The other kids and I decided to stick around and shoot until she was done. This low hoop was perfect for the kids. So fun! It was a little crazy as the second picture proves… but, fun!
After the Y we went to Culvers thinking we were going to catch the end of "Lakeshore Night" and enjoy some ice cream… yes, before our supper at home. Turns out I was a week off! Oh well… the ice cream still tasted good. I realized it when we were in the parking lot before going in. We'll be at a Brewer game during the real "Lakeshore Night," so we decided to still go in and enjoy some ice cream. :)

[the boys got their hair cut today… here is Nate getting pampered!]
Tonight Nate was in the car and said what sounded like, "look, Mom, that window has a rope on it." I thought to myself… what is trying to say? His speech isn't always easy to understand. What was he trying to say that sounded like rope??? Hmmm… because, he surely can't be trying to actually say rope. I looked back and sure enough… there WAS rope on that window!!! I just started laughing hysterically. Really, rope on the window? Odd.
Keep smiling!
